Storage & Handling
Like many other materials, PTFE exhibits a degree of memory, meaning that unsintered tape will tend to revert to its original form. This is particularly evident with expanded tapes, which attempt to contract back to their original density. It is therefore essential to store the material in a cool, clean and dry environment. Ideally, the temperature should be maintained below +19°C at all times to preserve its properties and performance.
